Ski Sacrifice good investment in Nozawa Onsen

New Snow; 25cm

Base at top; 285cm

Looks like the sacrificing of skis has paid off and we had a good dump of snow last night.
Reports are showing up to 25cm of fresh up top so not quite the Magic Foot but a most welcome covering all the same.

It started to snow at about 7pm last night and continued until about 8am this morning.

The sun has come out now so it should make for a great day on the slopes and a much nicer than yesterday which had poor visibility.

As usual the weekend crowd has rolled in but seems a little quieter again than last weekend.

The outlook is for more snow from tomorrow night and continuing through the week so hopefully the spring like system that hit us last week has been broken.

Just wanted to give a little plug to the great Lifties of Nozawa Onsen. Lots of them are more mature lets say and are devoted to the cause of getting all the happy guests up and on their way. Having worked with them for many years have not met a happier and more dedicated team anywhere in the world. They are always on hand to brush the snow of your seat and give you a smile as you fly past.

Nozawa Onsen Lifties some of the best around
