Weather; Sun creeping through the clouds

A beautiful day of blue skies yesterday left us feeling bittersweet. It was awesome to see the sun but we were all hoping for more snow.  luckily, It’s been snowing overnight and we woke up to 15cm of fresh up the top and nearly 15 in the village too. Since lifts opening this morning we’ve already received another 5cm. The snow doesn’t look like it’ll be stopping any time soon either. the snow should become lighter in the afternoon but we’ll still be receiving some more in the afternoon.

Tomorrow looks like it’ll be a beautiful up on the slopes, with clear skies for the morning before clouding over in the late afternoon and dumping 16 cm overnight. We’re in for a good week to come and a good start to the new year if this weather system keeps progressing over the next couple of days.

Now that the snow is starting to build up, the tree runs are becoming more and more and more tempting. Make the right decisions and keep yourself safe on the mountain!
