Can't see the Temple for the Trees Nozawa Onsen

For anyone that has taken a walk around the temples at Nozawa Onsen you would have been just as impressed by the amazing Pine Trees or Sugi as they are known that stand guard on all sides.
They are huge and have probably been growing there as long or longer than the temples which date back over 300 Years ago and are Heritage listed.
Snowing lightly in Nozawa Onsen looks like about 10cm has collected and given a nice dusting. The forecast is for heavy snow from Friday night. March is delivering on the snow front as usual!
Water flows everywhere in Nozawa it is the heart of the Village
