Coming down from the natural highs of yesterday

by Mark on December 28, 2012

Nothing like some fresh corduroy lines except maybe some fresh powder lines!

Base up top: 210 cm        Temp Top;  – 9 Degrees

Base at bottom; 105 cm

New Snow since close: 1 cm

Weather; Cloudy

Hard to come down after the awesome day we experienced in Nozawa yesterday. People were rolling down the mountain with grins from ear to ear and powder falling out of every pocket.

Today is a bit overcast and just 1cm of fresh overnight. Should still be great conditions out on the slopes with powder stashes if search a little. The cold temps will probably keep the groomers pretty fast.

More sun expected tomorrow and freezing level shooting up to 2000m above sea level. Then Sunday night temps are cascading down and it is forecast to snow for 5 days straight! Better clear the roof today…

The Craft Room on the slopes below the Nagasaka Gondola. Max and Dave happy to share thier love of beer with the apres ski crowd.
