At last! We have some fresh snow falling. Not much with only a dusting across the mountain but at least its a start and a sign of things to come with snowfall rates expected to increase later today. The mountain will be fast and icy early and the tree runs will be a challenge in the conditions. With the continued snowfalls conditions should improve later in the day.

Yesterday was slushy, classic spring conditions, which is very unusual considering the time of year. Nevertheless there was fun to be had on the pistes after they softened. The snow was quite fast, better than the day before. Off piste areas were not the best to be honest. The park and pipe were in fine form considering the snow conditions.

Looking at the forecast, snowfalls should increase to moderate levels overnight with around 10-20cm expected. Tomorrow will be windy and cold but the fresh powder will more than make up for it. Snowfalls are expected to ease over this time before becoming isolated on Thursday. Friday should clear to bluebird conditions.
